Applications for 2009 entry now welcome!
The new Application form and FAQs for 2009/2010 entry to all of the United World Colleges are now available on our application pages.
Please come along to one of our Open Days at Atlantic College. For more details see the latest Open Days page.
We would like to encourage all pupils considering this unique opportunity to get their forms filled in and references returned on (or preferably before) 14th February 2009. Each year we are lucky to be able to offer approximately 45 places for British pupils to attend United World Colleges, via a competitive selection process. The majority of these places are for the internationally famous Atlantic College in South Wales, but with the opportunity to attend all of the overseas colleges.
There is no 'ideal' UWC student, but generally we will be looking for individuals who are due to sit GCSE, Scottish Standard or the first year of Higher levels this year (age 16/17), who have a good level of academic achievement, open-mindedness, an awareness of international issues, and preferably evidence of commitment to their local communities.

have the courage to think and act positively".
The deadline for entry in September 2009/20010 is 14th February 2009. Forms are available to download from our application pages, or by calling Atlantic College on 01446 799000. More information, including links to the individual colleges, can be found on our about pages.
We'd like to encourage young people from England, Scotland and Wales who want to make a difference in the world and challenge themselves to consider applying - you could soon be experiencing the international opportunity of a lifetime!
